Rita M. Cornish Elected Secretary of Salt Lake County Bar Association

Rita M. Cornish was nominated and elected as Secretary of The Salt Lake County Bar Association at their annual Spring Dinner Dance and Election of Officers held on Friday, May 31, 2019.

Ms. Cornish practices in Parr Brown’s commercial litigation group with a focus on construction and real estate litigation and corporate governance disputes. She received her J.D. from the University of Utah with Highest Honors, Order of the Coif. Ms. Cornish also holds a PH.D. In Chemistry from the University of Utah.

The Salt Lake County Bar is open to all attorneys practicing in Salt Lake County. The mission of the Salt Lake County Bar is to provide continuing legal education programs to attorneys in Salt Lake County, to provide an organized means of communication and social interaction among the practicing attorneys in Salt Lake County, to sponsor law related activities, programs, and services for the benefit of the community, to improve public awareness of the Judicial system and the role of the legal profession within that system, and to serve the general welfare of attorneys in Salt Lake County.
