Mr. Taylor has been practicing law at the firm since 1983, with an emphasis in real estate. His practice is comprised almost exclusively of real estate and real estate-related transactions for developers, lenders, investors and commercial users. He has had extensive experience in purchase, sale, development, leasing and (traditional mortgage, bond and HUD) financing transactions involving major office, retail, industrial, warehouse, apartment, condominium, recreational, agricultural, hospital, nursing home and resort properties, including entity formation and structuring, land assemblages, declarations (CC&R’s) and easements, land use planning and zoning work, redevelopment and economic development projects and tax-deferred exchanges. For many years, a significant portion of Mr. Taylor’s time has been spent on leasing, principally representing landlords, and he currently represents landlords in preparing and negotiating leases covering in excess of four million square feet of space in various properties in the greater Salt Lake metropolitan area.
Mr. Taylor was listed in the 2010, and 2011 editions of Utah Business magazine's Legal Elite.
