Miriah Elliott is an associate in the firm’s Business Section and practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, business organizations, and commercial transactions.
Ms. Elliott received her J.D., Order of the Coif, with Highest Honors from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law where she was a William H. Leary Scholar and Managing Editor of the Utah Law Review. During law school, Ms. Elliott was a teaching assistant in the Legal Writing program and the Academic Support Program and served as Secretary of the Women’s Law Caucus. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Utah.
Prior to joining Parr Brown, Ms. Elliott served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Carolyn B. McHugh of the Utah Court of Appeals. Ms. Elliott also worked as a summer associate at Parr Brown in 2008 and 2009. In addition, Ms. Elliott served as a Volunteer for the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center.
Ms. Elliott is a member of Women Lawyers of Utah and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Utah Bar and has participated in the Wills for Heroes program.
