Bryan Allen is a member of the firm’s corporate transactions group, with emphasis on securities, intellectual property transactions, mergers and acquisitions and private investment funds. Mr. Allen assists private and public companies with securities offerings, public company compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues. Mr. Allen assists companies with licensing, joint venture and other transactions and agreements involving intellectual property and other rights. He also advises hedge funds, commodities pools and other private investment funds on formation, compliance and other matters.
Mr. Allen graduated with a B.S. degree in Chinese Studies and a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Utah, both summa cum laude. In addition, he received a Masters of Religion degree, cum laude, from the Yale Divinity School.
For the past ten years, Bryan has represented SaaS and cloud-based companies, and their customers, with various partnering, support, customer and license agreements, as well as with data-law compliance and regulatory matters.
Mr. Allen was named one of the top corporate/mergers and acquisitions lawyers in Utah in the 2008-2012 editions of Chambers USA - America's Leading Business Lawyers;was listed in Utah Business magazine's 2009-2012 Utah's Legal Elite in corporate law; and was also listed in The Best Lawyers in America 2010-2013 editions.
